Authentic Italian cuisine

Villa Eatalia was opened in July 2018 and is the brainchild of Nitika Malik, a long-term resident of Hanoi and a successful businesswoman. Nitika established the restaurant because she wanted people to be able to experience authentic Italian food in a relaxed setting.

Since opening in July 2018, Villa Eatalia has built a loyal customer base with its delicious food, beautiful space and regular events.

Villa Eatalia prides itself on its wood-fired pizza oven, hand-pulled lever espresso machine offering freshly ground Italian coffee, truffles imported fresh from Italy, and the Gondola Bar with its extensive list of cocktails — and special cocktails are available on request.

The Villa Eatalia difference

We use the finest ingredients sourced direct from Italy, wherever possible. Our team includes Italian chefs and management, which adds to the authentic Italian experience.

Our unique location overlooks Quang Ba Park and features a range of delightful indoor and outdoor spaces — including a covered outdoor dining area and a VIP room — that can be used for private dining, social events or corporate functions.

We are guaranteed family-friendly, and we offer children’s activities like movies, story-telling and pizza-making classes.

Our unique space means we can host activities like yoga and pilates, and for corporate events, a screen and projector is available for hire when you book a room.

Experienced, international team

Villa Eatalia  has  an international team of kitchen and waiting staff, and our management team includes:

  • Nitika Malik, the owner of Villa Eatalia
  • Felice Martinelli, our Head Chef who is originally from Milan, Italy and has 35 years’ international  experience in Italy, the Maldives and Malaysia
  • Giovanni Martelozzo, our General Manager who hails from Venice, Italy and has more than 23 years’ experience in hospitality
  • Mohamed Hussein, our Restaurant Manager with three years’ experience.
